Kamaka‘ike was born and raised in Seattle, Washington with family origins in Kona Hema, Hawai‘i. She is a recent graduate of the University of Washington, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Health and Medical Anthropology.
Kamaka‘ike now resides in Kāne‘ohe where she enjoys helping her family out in their gardens. She hopes to continue her education and pursue an MPH program next school year.
While working as the Education & Training Assistant, Kamaka‘ike looks forward to getting to know Native Hawaiian communities across different regions and listening to their stories.”
