This class will focus on pregnancy, birth and postpartum for families wishing to practice Hawaiian birthing traditions. Whether you choose to have your keiki in the hospital, at home, or just wish to support family members through their birth cycle, this workshop will introduce some traditional Hawaiian birth practices as applicable today.

Practices include the following:

1. Lāʻau Lapaʻau
2. Birthing positions/ Lomilomi
3. Kuleana Kāne
4. Moʻolelo Hawaiʻi & basic Hawaiian vocabulary for pregnancy and birth.
