Imi Hale is one of 25 Community Network Programs funded by the Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities, National Cancer Institute. Imi Hale entered its 6th year in 2005 and continues to provide a robust infrastructure to increase the number of indigenous researchers and to increase research in cancer prevention and control. The RET Department provides technical assistance in research to the Native Hawaiian Health Care System upon request.
