It has been a little over a month since we gathered, and we can’t help but reflect on the incredible moments shared at Aha Hoolokahi, this year’s Native Hawaiian Health & Well-Being Summit. From the profound wisdom shared by keynote speakers Aunty Lynette Paglinawan, Hardy Spoehr, and Dr. Naleen Andrade to the diverse workshops and engaging sessions that were so intricately curated for this summit, Aha Hoolokahi truly provided the opportunity for us to hold space for each other and do the necessary work to uplift our lāhui.
We extend a huge mahalo to our host organization, UH West Oʻahu, our partners at ʻAʻaliʻi Alliance, our generous sponsors, our media crew from ʻŌiwi TV, and all the attendees who made this event possible. Your unwavering commitment to the health and well-being of our people is an inspiration.
Though we may have parted ways physically, we continue our journey together, honoring the foundations set before us and forging partnerships to pave the way for a vibrant and thriving future.
Until next time! E Ola Mau!
