Hale o Lono assures community recognition of Papa Ola Lokahi, the Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship Program and the Native Hawaiian Health Care Systems, as well as an easily accessible online clearinghouse of resources, publications, news and information.

Communication & Community Engagement

Our role is to amplify the stories of and opportunities around Kanaka Maoli health and well-being that builds the capacity of our lāhui to make informed decisions for their individual, ohana and community health and wellness. We also strive to provide accurate and timely information, resources, opportunities and points of access that build the capacity of our NHHCIA ohana.

Native Hawaiian Health Archive

A legacy of Hawaiian Well-Being will be preserved through the establishment of an online repository of papers, collections and ephemera, which include donated documents. We are actively collecting, organizing and digitizing in preparation for the 2024 launch of this online archive. We also maintain and operate a library of resources for the the staff and colleagues of Papa Ola Lōkahi.

Speakers Bureau

Papa Ola Lōkahi has among its staff specialists in a variety of public health, behavioral health and Hawaiian cultural practices.  Speakers will provide meaningful information, useful tools and resources to aid your audiences in making informed choices and responsible decisions that will lead toward a safe, pono and thriving community.
